What does wellness mean?

Life should be full of joy and vitality. Wellness is about living as full and healthy a life as possible from a physical, mental and emotional perspective. Often you are influenced by factors outwith your control which tilt your balance away from vitality. These factors if left unchecked can lead to illness or DIS-ease.

You can positively influence your life. A small shift can lead to great changes in how you feel and this can have a dramatic effect on your health and well being. Learning how to manage your own symptoms gives you a greater sense of being more in control.

Start by taking a pro-active approach to your health

  • eat well
  • avoid toxins
  • exercise regularly - at least 20 minutes 3 times per week
  • get enough rest
  • find a balance between work and recreation
  • do things which you enjoy on a regular basis
  • stop, breathe deeply and live in the moment
